Why:

Join us for the launch of the Protection, Gender, and Inclusion Tool kit, a great work in progress over the past two years globally.  We know that emergencies exacerbate existing gender inequalities, and the incidence of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), violence against children and trafficking in human beings often increase during and after emergencies. Someone’s sex, gender identity and other factors, including age, disability, sexual orientation, health status, including HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses, social status, immigration and/or legal status, ethnicity, faith and nationality (or lack thereof) shape the extent to which people are vulnerable to, affected by, respond to and recover from emergencies.

Únete con nosotros al lanzamiento de “Kit de herramientas de Protección, Genero e Inclusión”, un excelente trabajo en progreso durante los últimos dos años a nivel mundial. Sabemos que las emergencias exacerban las existencias de desigualdad de género y la incidencia en la violencia sexual y de género, la violencia contra la niñez y el tráfico en derechos humanos incrementan durante las emergencias. El sexo, la identidad de género y otros factores, incluyendo la edad, discapacidad, orientación sexual, estado de salud, enfermedades crónicas, incluyendo el VIH/SIDA, estatus social, inmigración y/o estatus legal, etnia, fe y nacionalidad moldean las medidas en que las personas son vulnerables a los efectos por responder y cubrir las emergencias.
