CCCM-LAC: Webinar Género y CCCM

Desde la Mesa de Género y la Mesa de CCCM de REDLAC queremos invitarle al seminario web del próximo miércoles 14 de octubre a las 10:00 am (Panamá/Bogotá) sobre las Claves de Género en la Gestión y Coordinación de Albergues en el marco de la situación provocada por la COVID-19 en la región de América Latina y el Caribe y también ante la temporada de huracanes en el Caribe.

En la sesión, tendremos un primer panel para abordar conceptos clave e impactos diferenciados sobre las mujeres y personas LGBTIQ+ y posteriormente, en un segundo panel, donde se presentarán una serie de experiencias y buenas prácticas en la integración y promoción de la participación de las mujeres y personas LGBTIQ+ en los albergues en diferentes países de la región.

El webinar está dirigido a todas las personas que se encuentren trabajando o colaborando en la gestión de albergues y a diferentes actores humanitarios que trabajen en contextos de emergencia. El evento es organizado de forma conjunta por IFRC, Red regional de protección a personas LGBT+ en situación de movilidad humana en América Latina y el Caribe, OIM y ONU Mujeres y contará con interpretación simultánea en inglés y español.

From the Gender Roundtable and the CCCM Roundtable of REDLAC we would like to invite you to a web seminar next Wednesday, October 14 at 10:00 am (Panama/Bogota) on the Gender Keys in Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) in the COVID-19 context inLatin American and Caribbean and also in view of the hurricane season in the Caribbean.

In the session, we will have a first panel to address key concepts and differentiated impacts on women and LGBTIQ+ people and then we will have a second panel where some experiences and good practices in the integration and promotion of the participation of women and LGBTIQ+ people in shelters will be presented.

The webinar is aimed at all people working or involve in the management of shelters and also, for humanitarian actors working in emergency contexts. The event is jointly organized by IFRC, Regional network for the protection of LGBT+ people in situations of human mobility in Latin America and the Caribbean, IOM and UN Women and will have simultaneous interpretation in English and Spanish.
