(English) During Y-Adapt, an interactive games-based curriculum, youth have been working on the collection of rainwater. This consists of storing the rainwater in rainy times, so it can be used in times of dryness. This way there is water to reduce the impact of a drought.
The first step was informing people about water harvesting. The youth participants informed the local community members on what the best ways are for water harvesting and what kinds of instruments you may need for these. Then lastly explaining what benefits this could have for the local community
After informing the local community members about water harvesting the youth participants searched to locate, from place to place, the necessary instruments to make water harvesting a possibility in the community.
Lastly, the collection and storage of water is carried out. This storage of water will be used as a pasteurizer, in the events of shortage during drought or other hazards.
