(English) The Belize Red Cross, in partnership with local authorities and the Salvation Army, are assisting in efforts to ensure that homeless persons receive shelter for the period of the state of emergency in Belize during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Belize Red Cross also provided mattresses, blankets and hygiene kits, as well as certified Home Care Givers who are currently working on shifts to attend to sheltered persons. Medication will be provided everyday by the Ministry of Health and meals by the Ministry of Human Development.
