Project Description

(English) Beginning on 5th April 2020, the BVI went into a two-week mandatory 24-hour lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19. Many families would have not done enough shopping for food supplies that would have been enough to last them for 14 days. The BVI Red Cross was able to support 300 of the most vulnerable households with food parcels that contained water, rice, canned goods, dairy products, cereals, dry goods, and fresh produce.
