(English) During Y-Adapt, an interactive games-based curriculum, youth have been working on an action plan on drainage and sewers clean-up drives in various Barangays.
Firstly, the youth participants had a four step plan, where collaboration was in the centre. Step one was meeting the SRCY and make an action plan. Step two was to collaborate with Barangay officials to target the different Barangay. Step three was the scheduling of the entire process. The last step was collaborating with BFP and other Barangay organizations.
After that the youth participants went to implement their plan. They worked on the clean-up drive, that will lead to the IEC, the night clean-up drive and the clean=up drive day.
The last face of the youth participants were described with the word: ‘Sustainability’. They did an assessment of the activity. Led by the RCY, cleaned the canal and lastly made additional proposals for further actions.
