(English) During Y-Adapt, an interactive games-based curriculum, youth have been working on the beautification of the community, using the (household) waste that may worsen the effect of flooding, typhoons and storms.
Firstly, the youth participants did a vulnerability capacity assessment. They recognized the need for better local ways to be able to reduce, reuse and recycle of waste products, since the dumpsite is to small for the community.
After that, the youth participants were able to join on community beautification, using the household waste like bottles, papers, rations, glass, Styrofoam and etc. in a creative way.
Lastly, the youth participants worked on the segregation of different waste products. (Biodegradable from non-biodegradable)
