The St. Kitts and Nevis Red Cross Society hosted a Youth Advocacy Vision Board Workshop on February 22nd, 2021.
The workshop was organised and managed by our volunteer, Kerdis Clarke and the lead facilitator was Shelisia Glasford. The excitement and vibrancy were truly impressive.
The Society believes that it is important to lobby for the interest of our young people. Some advocacy efforts of interest that our participants shared were relating to mental health, sports education, agriculture and sustainable development and housing.
When we give our young people a voice, we would be able to reflect their interest to affect change.
