The activity took place in the afternoon of April 29, 2021 on a side road on the outskirts of the city of Macas, Morona Santiago province, Ecuador. With the support of young volunteers and the youth group “Municipality of Byrona”, it was possible to collect around 80 kg of decomposing material, which contained several kg in glass bottles, around 5 kg in plastics, cardboard and metal. , and about 6 abandoned dump truck tires stacked on the side of the road.
