Congratulations to the 106 graduates of the Community Emergency response team (CERT) from the Chaguanas borough and Tunapuna/Piarco Regional corporation. The CERT program was introduced as a result of the devastating flooding in 2018 so that trainees can assist their communities before the arrival of first responders in the event of a disaster.
After 2 consecutive weekends of training, the graduates are one step closer to disaster resilience.
