During Y-Adapt, an interactive games-based curriculum, youth have been working on earthquake & tsunami awareness campaign.
Firstly in the project, the youth participants gathered information about the risk of these hazards. Before the youth participants could start this campaign and have educated discussions they had to be educated on the subject first.
After that, the youth participants initiated coordination with the Barangay officials and concerned agencies, like the Red Cross, to assist with information & dissemination campaigns and drills.
Lastly, the youth participants became involved with the activities and practices of being an advocate for earthquake and tsunami drills. Together with the Barangay officials and other agencies they have helped spread awareness about the hazards, in the area.
