During Y-Adapt, an interactive games-based curriculum, youth have been working on putting trash bins around a net bridge. The bridge bin is a solution to stop/minimize the solid waste pollution in the river. This can also save marine life.
Firstly, the youth participants talked to and coordinated with the community around the river, to ask why they throw solid waste in the river, confronting the people around the river.
After that, the youth participants made a communication latter to the city mayor. In this letter the situation about solid waste pollution and the effect it has on marine life has been addressed. With this letter there us a project proposal from the youth participants.
Lastly, the youth participants briefly proposed their project to the RCY, out of school youth and HGO’s.
