A campaign designed by volunteers from a region called Cartago, here in Costa Rica. First, they research scientific information about different techniques to manage emotions like fear and anxiety, which are quite common during the pandemic.
Then, they ask for help of volunteers from their region, which since their houses with their uniforms made the little videos, that then became into gifs.
They choose to use gifs, because they wanted a more dynamic campaigns, and gifs are extremely popular between young people.
They distributed in platforms like Instagram, Whatsapp and Facebook.
The campaign was so successful, that even other departments like Community Health and other companies outside Red Cross, ask permission to distribute the campaign. Because they felt was very friendly, even for adult people.
The text of the campaign was: Which way could we help people with anxiety symptoms? As community leaders, we could help through emotional management.
