La recuperaci\u00f3n de COVID-19 debe ser ecol\u00f3gica y sostenible, pero tendremos que vivir con las consecuencias de los niveles r\u00e9cord de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero en la atm\u00f3sfera durante mucho tiempo. Por tanto, es importante que sigamos asegurando la alineaci\u00f3n y la coherencia en los esfuerzos para reducir el riesgo de desastres y adaptarnos al cambio clim\u00e1tico, al mismo tiempo que prestamos atenci\u00f3n a la gesti\u00f3n de la salud de emergencia. La sesi\u00f3n se enfoca en promover la congruencia que debe existir entre las agendas de cambio clim\u00e1tico y reducci\u00f3n del riesgo de desastres, especialmente en gobernabilidad. The COVID-19 recovery must be green and sustainable but we will have to live with the consequences of the record levels of greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere for a long time to come. It is important then that we continue to secure alignment and coherence in efforts to reduce disaster risk and adapt to climate change while also paying attention to emergency health management. The session focuses on promoting the congruence that must exist between the climate change and disaster risk reduction agendas, especially in governance. The aim is to highlight the importance of supporting\u00a0the development of resilience to climate and disaster risks.<\/p>\n
